MY xbox 360 dvd drive opens when i switch it on it doesnt spin when disc is inserted.
Wh en is turn off xbox 360 the drive tray open s then closes then opens before finally closing down could anybody help. It is a Samsung drive

Are you sure the power cable is all good? I have a power cable which I custom extended, and one of the DVD Tray Status or Eject wires was not connected and my Samsung did the same thing. Make sure all connections are good.
