hi all just curious if the ixtreme has been detected on live as i wanna play online? has anyone had their 360 banned? using the ixtreme?

not iXtreme or Xtreme specifically but other things....banned using iXtreme that's a yes - if you want to play online don't violate the TOS i.e don't get your console modded (then you have nothing to worry about)

I have been playing on Live with iXtreme 1.4? and my Infectus2/addon attached for 3 months now with no problem at all.... Just don't play backups on live....disconnect that CAT5 cable if you do.

it's located in the file system of the NAND...with robinsods NAND tool you can decrypt it and have a squiz although it's all numbers and I can't understand it myself...it's the log file in other words

my point was if you already did something bad (disconnect your drive...run an un-stealthed back-up..etc etc) it has already been logged, and sent to M$ and you are awaiting a ban...otherwise all good

You've been adamant about your knowledge of the banhammer process, gigabyte. Could you point me in the direction of some sort of proof that this is the way things operate, or is it still speculation at this point? I couldn't find any concrete information.

I just $hi+ my pants when I read that comment! LOL! All in funny tho. With iXtreme 1.4, it wont allow a non-stealth back up to run period if it dosent have all the right checks, correct? Cause I have made a few bad backups that just give me "This is and xbox 360 game disk. Please insert this into an xbox 360" error kinda thing. |

So basicly when you flash your drive to iXtreme1.4(.1) fom factory you should do fine as long as you use an external power source so the mobo cant log that it booted with no dvddrive attached?
