Did you already solved the problem? I got the same problem. I only use Infectus 2.
I checked the wires a couple of times and resoldered them. Still not working.

Yes you MUST flash your infectus with some type of .dat file (I have only used the homebuilt...which was postbus.dat) to get it to downgrade - your flash is getting detected in infectus programmer yeah ? (Hynix 27US something) - and you MUST have 1920CB

Is this also neccesary with Infectus 2? Because i didn't do that. Maybe that's what causing the trouble for me.

yes and no, this was only required in the days b4 infectus officially supported the addon. Now you just specifiy posbus monitor - homebrew or addon board in the infectus software and 'apply' and it flashes the infectus accordingly. B4 it had to be done manually

Oke i see, but i didn't do that either. I have the infectus addon so i have to apply that with the Infectus programmer - Actel Firmware option?

yes in the infectus software, the actel menu and postbus monitor - homebrew or addon board option. when u select it, then go back to the actel menu and click apply at the bottom and it will flash it to the infectus. think its explained better in the downgrader document v 1.1

It's working fine now!! At first it didn't help to flash the Infectus with the postbus addon. After i soldered the addon direct on the Infectus it worked. Thanx for the help!!

i get to "press anykey when rrod starts" i press anykey and it doesnt do anything (it doest lock up, the cursor keeps blinking) and it just sits there I have the same problem. you miswired something or you are not using the right version of the software (0.3.8 beta 2) with the addon code (not homebrew) I have checked the wiring chip to chip and I have continuity. I have also checked the placing of the wires to make sure none are switched. I have updated my chip with the 3.9 programmer. Could that be a problem? Also updated within the programmer to "Postbus - Addon" I had a Ph.D working for me at Motorola GAR who once asked the same question, I sacked him Thats just funny.

it seems idgtool can't access the infectus with 3.9 anymore, you'll have to wait for an update.
