Ive just bought a replacement Hitachi drive on ebay which was supposed to be a rom version 47DJ. When extracted the firmware using firmware toolbox the drive is actually a rom version 44. Has anyone seen this rom version before and what type of firmware will get this drive to work?
I inserted my drive key and spoofed as a version 59 but the drive would not read anything. I tried to flash the drive with v59 firmware but the drive is now bricked  Angry
