Whois result from Jan 2006...  May or may not be of any help as the address also seems to be a Hairdressers (sorry, 'designers') and an Estate Agents.

more bad dealings...

i bought the 360 vga cable as i wanted to watch hd films in 1080p and i was aware not all hd tv's will output it with a 360 running through vga.
alas, it did not work and i requested a return which was denied.

i told them : i tried all the settings on my tv and 360 and i was aware that not all tvs will output the 1080p with a 360 over vga

They replied: please check your settings on your tv and 360

FFS! idiots. I gave my mate the cable and it worked on his.

i now go elsewhere

How is this in any way the dealer's fault, or a valid reason for a return?

"I bought a car without realising I needed a driver's license to use it on the roads, and now the dealer won't take the car back!"

Ok, not really the place for a dispute but...

Lets look at this scenario from another angle, didn't sony release some music cd's that wouldnt play on every cd player/hifi...whatever? IF, you were in THAT situation, wouldnt you ask for a refund? secondly, mrmodchips never advised me nor advertised the fact the vga cables wont work with all HD tv's and its not on the box the cable came in. I think i have that right as a consumer to ask for a refund for something that doesnt work with my setup. comparing it to a car + licence is way off, thats more like saying "i bought this vga cable but i never knew my tv didnt have a vga port.2 very different scenarios

the thing is you said the lead works fine on your friends t.v so isnt that more of a problem with your tv rather than the lead? The lead works perfect, most shops wouldnt refund for that...if you check some ebay auctions alot of them state theres no refund for incompatability with items like that.

Edit...A good shop would swap it though for a compatible item, or if they diddnt have any more they would proberly offer you credit to use on something else in the store..

My latest order from MrModchips just got the status "Shipped" 25 minutes ago. My previous order (shipped and received) was from the fourth of October.

I don't care where he is based, and if he's in trouble with the law. Any dealer with prompt responses and proven track record is good enough for me to order from.

(No relation - I order from pretty much any place in the world where the thing i want happen to be available)
