I have not confirmed this however I'm sure people will find this interestng. 

Guitar Hero 3 demo can run on burned media on a non-modded 360.

It's been confirmed on numerous blogs and forums.
A new KK kinda possibillity?  Roll Eyes Obviously is has no media flag set.
Would it be possible to combine the learnings from the (blocked) KK demo and this one?

Its not useful for anything but playing.

The PIRS file is still signed. Plus the default.xex inside the package is signed to only run a (Live Signed Package).

I know various DEMOS that run on burned media (so I belive, though I have not tried it but many others have)

the 360 doesn't even look for executables on USB, so no.

Annoying question:

Probable won't work, but have anyone tried to unpack a PIRS archive and burn it to a DVD? Smiley
What about that debug.pak.xen file in GH 3 demo? Anyone investigated at it?
