Hi guys, i'm having trouble getting a key from a Hitachi dump (firmware chip has been de-soldered and put in external programmer)...now the problem is - it gets detected in fw toolbox Hitachi 78 with iXtreme 1.2 - only problem is it says the key is 747474747 etc - now usually if something like this happens it's because there might be a tency bit of epoxy on one of the legs or something like that, or the chip isn't seated properly - now i've gone back many times and individually cleaned every pin and there is defiently no epoxy or solder joins...and no flux either, the chip is also seated perfectly but I am still getting 7474747...it is a good dump of the firmware and everything but I can't seem to locate the key, whats the exact locations I can find the key at manually?

Is this a bricked drive your fixing? for someone else...mabye they have the orig.bin <----

The key if not at the above address could have already been erased. Thats why I don't promise a key.....but I can fix the drive, just no key.

Hopefully someone made a backup! (you did state " It has 1.2 on it.)

A little more detail on history of drive would help.

Why buy one, when you can buy two for twice the price.
