Hi
Using the standard leads supplied i can connect a fibre optic cable from the graphics lead to my surround system to get dolby digital sound but i cannot connect a hdmi lead to the xbox when the standard lead is fitted, not enough space available. Is there an adapter available to allow a hdmi cable & fibre optic cable to be connected together?
Thia may sound confusing but i do not get true dolby digital sound from the hdmi lead. The sound difference is amazing when connected via optic cable

You have to hack up the audio video cable -- remove the plastic---then theres enough room

panny 37 inch viera i was suprised when i bought the t.v that it had no optical out. Just have to start hacking the plug
