thx for the reply Robinsod, tried that but for some reason my console will not boot up. I'm thinking it may have been a bad flash.
Sounds like a bad flash to me if your console will not boot and if Infectus cannot detect your nand. I would have a look at Arakons external power diagram as it explains how to provide external power to your 360 so that infectus can detect your nand.

My Xbox 360 wouldn't power on and Infectus couldn't detect my nand. I read up on the external power fix and unsuccessfully flashed my 360 another 15-20 times before I found the correct 360 Nand Installation diagram that included the V wire. Without the V wire Infectus corrupted my flash, after installing it, everything worked perectly and still does
