X Box Live Info Wanted

Been looking all over for info but keep getting different answers.Can you play an original 360 game on xbox live with a flashed box but without stealth firmware.

It's a pointless question. Why are you using a box that doesn't have the iXtreme firmware?  If you have aftermarket firmware, and you play on Live, you should be running iXtreme 1.2c. PERIOD.

The answer to your question is yes. I used Extreme 4.2a and played originals online with no problem.

The point of the question was i have sold xboxes before the stealth firmware was developed, now i have been asked by some one who wants to try xbox live. I don't want to tell him it is ok then get him p****** in my ear that he has been banned.

I contacted everyone I modded boxes for and got them on iXtreme.. you should too..

If i re-flashed everyone's xbox i would have to take six months off work to do it.

I used 4.2a from May to August on LIVE (with originals) with no problems. I used backups offline.

Just remind them to make absolutely sure if they put a backup in to unplug the ethernet cable! If they forget and boot up with a backup in and it logs them into LIVE they may get banned.
