Hello,
prior to the ban update, I wasn't online with my 360 for 3 weeks till yesterday. My 360 possessed the 5.2c firmware.
Nontheless, yesterday, I accepted the ban update, and I only played gears of wars, original. I haven't been banned.
Why I am posting this is to help prove the theory that Microsoft is 100 percent banning based on the backups, not the firmware.

yes , I are banned why some dmi and pfi are errate and not for the firmware

The one thing to remember is that M*oft usually gathers info on boxes to be banned, then bans them all in one update...

Another output to this community.
Today, I tried GRAW 2 backup, I checked with xmuellerdvd and it said its totally stealthed (dmi,pfi, ss.bin all stealthed). I'm not banned.
So we can conclude their banning based off how stealthed one game is.
So really, ixtreme is essentially a 5.2/5.3 except just prevent stupid idiots from booting unstealthed games.

Err... No the iXtreme firmware is a lot different from 5.3, loads of the features from Xtreme have been removed as well as the addition of dmi/pfi/video checks. |

Wrong, iXtreme also adds fix/mod for timing checks which your version does not do...and I'll bet MS is collecting that data as well. |
