guys yesterday I tried to revert back to original firmware. All went OK during the programming. Though when I mounted back the 360 I had this bloody E64 error. Now when I tried to connect my drive back to the computer and do the 2 wire trick for modeb the pc is rather slow and jams on bios when it tries to seek the sata connections.

What can be done ? I have the dvd key

If I get another drive can I revive this one by getting into modeb with the new drive and then replacing it with this faulty one ?

On ebay there are guys from Hong Kong selling samsungs...will these be ok or should I be careful on the region since I would need a PAL.

I might as well ask someone to take off the firmware chip and reprogram it externally...can someone please show me where this chip is ?

Thanks to all

I assume you are talking about an Hitachi drive? Does it still eject?

I don't think so. I had to get mine done twice (left a dvd inside when flashing). After second time I decided to get a TS drive as well as they can be fixed. Think it cost about 40 bucks US to get this done, but when you receive your drive back it will have your key on it, unlike the TS drive you are getting. You will need to insert your key into that one before using.

Good Luck
