flash a ts drive without a floppy disk drive

im a fw modding noob and i have a ts drive, im not sure of what ms version it is since after my case mod i threw the sticker away, but i baught a usb-sata connector and i want to do a flash, but im on a laptop so no floppy drive. so i guess my question is  once i hook my dvd drive to the computer is thier somthing i can use to read the versions etc? and how do i flash it without having a floppy drive? if anyone knows of a good tutorial plz link me.

Wanna find the version?  Look on the drive sticker on top for a f/w version.

You'll need a bootable usb key or cd to flash without a floppy drive.  To make this easy, I want to start by pointing you to http://www.google.com and tell you to research Xtreme Boot Maker and iPrep.

er, no.. you are missing one thing.. SATA-USB adapters don't work for samsung drives. no support by mtkflash, no support by dos in the first place.

well if its a sammy drive its mostl likely a ms28 now. cuz after a sucessful flash alot of the released firmwares change ms25 to ms28 unless i read wrong. also if your lappy has a cdrom or dvdrom drive you can boot without a floppy drive if you use this image http://www.360mods.net/tutorial/NTFSDOS.iso
just keep pressing enter past all the weird language till you get to the yes or no screen and type yes. you can then access the files on your harddrive to flash. so make you put your files into a folder in your root c:
