i am from australia and i need to know if anyone can tell me where to buy the sst39vf020 chips from. I am having a hard time finding them. Even if i can order from website local or international it will be fine.

is it true that when you heat gun the 79fk or 78fk pcb board that the sst chip is not usable anymore? because after removing the black epoxy with heatgun (didnt remove chip yet) and putting the pcb back in drive and started 360 , it wouldnt eject . it just kept blinking. or did i stuff up the board?

chances are you damaged the board if you took more than a few moments to heat it up and remove the epoxy. most heatguns run hot enough to melt solder, so you probably did just that while removing the epoxy and some components moved/shorted out.

I do NOT give support by email, PM, ICQ or whatever. Anyone annoying me that way will have his balls removed. With a rusty butterknife. Slowly. And I'll enjoy doing it.
