Has anyone noitced that Premium xbox 360 consoles manufactured in October november 2006 are not chrome plated from the side and neither is the hard disk that comes with it.( chrome meaning shiny ) the 2 old cosoles i had were shiny chrome but this one is plasticy gray?

yeah, they changed that quite a while back. although they never were shiny chrome colored, but had a slightly metallic gray color.
