i wsnt initially banned. i was a ms28, flashed right out the box. ive been playing on live since the banned rolled out, and was officially banned this morning sometime. ahwell, was fun while it lasted!

I'm still not banned.

I have only ever had Xtreme 4.2 firmware installed on my MS25 drive and still have it installed. However I have not played any backup discs since the Spring Update, only original discs.
So far this would indicate to me that they are not able to detect the firmware itself, just the backup disc. However it may just be that they've not got round to me yet.

Well i have a hitachi 47. Modded it since the first hitachi release and kept fairly recent with updates and such. I waited until c4eva 2.4 stealth before updating to the spring update. After that d/l and played halo 3 beta lots. Came home from work and found out about the bannings so I immediately restored firmware to original after I restored original I forgot to hook up dvd sata cable and played a few rounds of halo 3 beta lol Been playing it ever since and nothing else. Because of this I'm not entirely convinced the Microsoft is checking if the dvd drive has been disconnected. If Garyopa or C4eva wants me to test running it without the dvd attached or anything no problem, I barely use live and wouldnt mind being banned if it'll help them out.

Sammy MS28 - Xtreme 5.2 - Fall update
9/10 of my backups are stealth (Mulleter) - no-stealth one was only played for 5 Minutes to check if its working.
Images were done with Kreon drive (newest firmware Jan 2007) - all handmade from originals. Don't know if SS is original.

Never used XBL since I got the box in January 2007 and therefore did not use backups on XBL.

In case media information is collected since the fall update, I may be banned when I go online.
Wanted to avoid any updates as long as possible because of homebrew/efuse.

I'm still not banned, checked 10 minutes ago. 90% of my games are spread by releasegroups, if they were not stealth i used the 42.Stealth.Patches.PAL.for.XBOX360 pack from drabiits for my dmi and pfi and used to video file inside the xtreme42 firmware. Drive is a 0047DJ with 2.4 firmware. Never played very active on live (thank god i did not)

Bought the xbox on the day the springupdate came out. Didn't play online then. After the release of the C4E 2.4 hitachi firmware i flashed the drive and updated the 360 and played a couple of hours on live before the bannings started.
I've checked my backups and only 1/20 wasn't stealth patched. I did play that game for 4 mins online

I now have the networkcable unplugged and i'm waiting for the new firmware. Last time i checked was the 21st of may

Stil not banned as of 7:30am EST May 23rd.

Had my console since April 06, put X1.1 on 4 days after release and have had almost every FW besides 2.0 on my drive since then. I joined Live before ever modding, played originals and backups online, played non-stealth patched games online, and everything offline. I've signed on and played Uno every night since Friday. I've had my SATA cable unplugged the whole time, still not banned. I didn't upgrade to 5.3 either, I've had 5.2 on my drive since the day it came out and was even playing Crackdown backup online the day before the banning started. I'm sure my time is coming, but it's not here yet.

Running an MS28 that had 4.2 out of the box then 5.3a before taking the spring update. Also my core has no eeprom

Since the day of the bans i took the fully stealth backup i'd been playing out of the drive and have only booted the console without hdd/memcard to do the xbox live connection tests. Nothings been played in the xbox since the ban and i havent connected my gamertag to live.

I'm thinking of flashing the ms28 firmware back to the original using a banned 360 as the power source (to possibly avoid any boot without SATA logs)

Anyone think this is a good idea (I know its probably not a "good" idea, but could it be a valuable test)

I had my box banned (hitachi 59 2,4FW)  then a good friend of mine offerd me to exchange his live working box for mine banned one.

He did not like to play online and the deal sounded great so now i have his not yet banned console.

It has a hitachi 47 and is flashed with 2.2 garyopa ithink (i flashed it for him some months ago don exactly remember if it is 2,2 or 2,3.

He did last time play on live 2 months ago and since then he has not renewed his xbox live to gold, its silver now

i tested to sign in to live with my harddrive and it worked i got a silver accaunt since my gold was "cancelled" yesterday.

my question is.   are there anyone that have been banned while only having the silver accaunt since they started banning people?
is it posible that if i get a gold membership again that they could ban me because no one got banned while having silver?

It does not matter the type of your account, the banning is done by seeing you use "backups" on your
x360. If this box is NOT BANNED, it is best just to play originals until the new firmware is released for
your drive.

i have yet to be banned, last checked yesterday
been modded since mid april, i have played many backups offline, only tested one briefly online (world series of poker)
played lots on live with my original of MLB 2k7
im pretty sure the firmware used is 5.2, not sure which letter m28 drive

I think its the same for me, I used backups offline since banning began but it was without network cable in it. I used the last 4 days only originals. I'm still not banned and I haven't played much on live last 3 to 4 months so I think the chances are not that small for me that i sllipped the ban hammer

I'm banned with my 1st 360 my 2nd one is still good, but that's online been on Live for 3 days so I'll see what happens with that.  My friend isn't banned.  He was on Live this morning.  He has a MS25 which wasn't flashed out of the box, but flashed with 5.2b before it went on even Live in January this year. He only plays stealth patched backups on Live.

I am still not banned. Using a sammy ms25 with 5.3 and still playing play backups online. I'm in the UK but not sure that makes a difference.

Still not banned, at time of bans was using unstealthed game, not that it matters lol. Since bans I haven't used backups apart from GoW which was used twice, codes are the same as they have always been.

I have a hitachi 59 and hadn't been on live 3 days before the banning started. Before i tried, i flashed back to original firmware. I used to run 2.3rev2 before that. now i flashed back to 2.4 and keep my cable unplugged
