Firmware Version: 5.3C flashed Prior to spring update
Spoofed: to MS28 (dont know why it was like that it was my mistake on that part)
Live Status: Banned (I was playing GOW for awhile and then i heard about the bannings and decided to test, I put crackdown in my console (not original) and then it said disconnected from live.)

Thats exactly what happened to my friend. It does not give him any errors now, it simply will not let him sign into live. He has no indication he's banned until he goes to the test network settings, and then it gives a error in the corner. Funny, because he did the same combo, GOW to crackdown....ban.

Also, i am VERY curious if anyone with a NME360 is having issues. If the dash is indeed now dumping the drive's eeprom and doing crc checks, then NME360 should avoid this update's 'security'.

also of note I have played games online since such as graw2 and battlefield 2.

I havent touched crapdown and I had deleted it's gamesave prior to the update aswell.

I have also placed a 0047 both spoofed and unspoofed in the system since updating and I am still no Ban yet.


My thought is that its due to not updating the FW before the new dash update.
for those who will say but I didnt play a game.
Did you watch a dvd movie? maybe they jitter checked that.

I also have 1 friend who has a 0047 and is banned he didnt update to the new FW til after he updated the dash.
He also had a original disc in the system after the new dash but before the the new FW was flashed.

Updated firmware before dashboard update.  Did all this last Friday evening.  Played on Xbox during the weekend, didnt come back to it until last night (Thurs) and it was banned.  So basically hadn't even touched console since weekend.
