2 - Hitachi 47 with 2.4 jitter banned none played crackdown, only one had spring update, both are banned.
1 - Hitach 47 with 2.3r2 not banned, playing crackdown fine

ms-25 moved to 5.3 before spring update backup of my crackdown disk downloaded halo beta through crackdown played like 3 hours last nite played like a hour off and on today - not banned yet

Ok here's something to throw into the mix...
A friend of mine in the uk downloaded stuff from the american marketplace.
Specifically Aegis Wing that was a free arcade game for americans only.
Played it on his UK Profile on a completely unmodded xbox.
Hitachi Drive / version not known / original firmware / never modded / BANNED.

This topic is more important than ever given the recent release of the Halo 3 beta. As a result, some consumers that try to login to LIVE who we detect have illegally modified their console will get an error code (Status Code: Z: 8015 - 190D) when trying to connect to the service. These users will not have their account automatically banned from LIVE, but they will no longer be able to access the service from the console they modified."

PS:Dont think Crackdown has anything to do with it..
Speculation-Could it not be possible for M$ to have released this lastest 5.3 firmware???Just a thought
Woah, that would be crazy. Very doubtful tho. I had Xtreme 5.2 flashed last night, played the Halo 3 beta with backup crackdown, but I hadn't sign on again until I heard about the bannings, so I flashed my firmware back to normal, went on live, and I'm fine. |

Clarification is necessary to be sure, but PLEASE. lay off the 'dick' that is completely out of line here. There is no need to be spiteful. On the good note. I was thinking that it had something to do with this: Spoofing your drive. So far i've read everyone that does this is banned. secondly, updating to jitter fw BEFORE the spring update. My console was never turned on for about a week so i had time to upgrade the fw to c4e 2.4. I just logged in scared as hell and it worked. So far so good. i've only noticed a few people that updated before hand and got banned. let us know if you are spoofing your drive version. My stats: Launch box 47DJ with 2.4 jitter - no maximus played phantasy star universe, crackdown and halo 3 beta last night and this morning. Just logged in 10 minutes ago about 7:30 pacific and it signed me in. So I immediately turned my box off. I updated my drive BEFORE the spring update. commodore4eva would not have released this update if he didn't get some kind of reliable info from someone. Besides, if he made a fix for the hitachi, which I can tell he dreads doing it must have been important. Keep it comming guys! Good work. In any case. Xbconnect360 anyone? PS. Please tell us when you updated your drives fw. before or after the spring update. |

Flashed way before Dashboard update, sometime around september
Status: banned, This afternoon, was playing Halo 3 beta last night from 2am to 6am Pacific Standard Time time May 17th
Note, I did not play ANY backups/originals at all after the live update, all i did was play XBLA games, and the last game i played was Halo 3 beta (Got it from email at bungie.net), last other official game before was Double Dragon
I was logged into live from the beginning (Bought this xbox at launch), so i was on xbox live with this 360 with unmodified firmware the first time.
Before the update i also play a few PAL games that came out before usa, last was Spiderman 3

Latest Dashboard update
Status: LIVE
ok i have 5.3c installed have being playing halo 3 beta though crackdown and have not gotten baned have being restarting my 360 all day and loading the beta up just to check to see if i have been ban and everything is working fine. also my backup was made from a retail copy of crackdown and i have not insterted the dmi and pfi bins to any of my games and was wondering if mabe microsoft can't detect my drive is modded if no dmi and pfi bin are on the games being played. please anyone post if the game you were playing when you got baned had dmi and pfi bin on them when you got baned. i don't know if this will help in any way just a thought i had thanks
