please post this information so we can figure out what the real reason for the bans are. please provide any other information that would help out.. this is for posterity  i.e. i was playing halo 3 beta via crackdown with my ms25 and 5.3 fw and now im banned.  Mod edit: Please keep piracy talk to a minimum.. |

Hitachi 59, 2.4 FW wich i flashed before updating to spring update. Not banned. I hope this helps in resolving the issue for all those who got banned. Peace

went online to test it, and i was banned...

lg59 \ un-banned\ newest C4 \ played halo demo.. still playing OG copy of gears

MS25 / Not Banned / 5.3 - Played RANT release of crackdown not stealth patched. Played halo 3 beta also.
I also updated from 5.2 to 5.3 before getting the spring update.

ms25 installed b4 spring update to 5.3 not banned
0078fk 1.6 b4 spring update and to present not banned
both machines have run copied crackdown to obtain halo 3 and both ran fine and continues to with back ups (tick tock )

Samsung Ms28 / Unbanned/ fw was 5.0 then after heard about bans updated to 5.3/ played halo 3 last night and today for a total of probally 12 hours and still not banned ive also restarted my console to make sure

Samsung MS28 modded with 5.2 firmware couple months ago, udated to 5.3 before spring update
Played halo 3 last night, played FFXI today (original disc), then when I logged out of FFXI this afternoon I got disconnected from xbox live and cant get back on.

PS:Dont think Crackdown has anything to do with it..
Speculation-Could it not be possible for M$ to have released this lastest 5.3 firmware???Just a thought
