Hi, i have read through a few tutorials  and they all seem to tell me to do the same thing (boot from slax dics let it run through wen it gets to log in promt, restart) well theres the first problem, i dont have a reset button on my computer so what would i do?

Plus my computer auto config's any newly added hardware, and when the xbox drive is powered it does say it has detected it and i save the changes but then my computer takes a long time to boot up then wen its running i cant find the 360's drive?

i have done the 'open your drive and if it takes 2 presses to get in its in modeB' test?

can  anyone help me out, also sorry if this exact subject has already come up but i dnt rreally feel to go through the so many pages there are.

thanks.

[EDIT]i just relised that this is kind of in the wrong forum, sorry if that is correct.

if its in modeb you will be able to detect it in windows, simple as.

press the eject to test, if it takes two presses to eject the drive, its in modeb .

and yes it does mean your 360 drive.
