Hey guys so i just wanted to know about flashing with the blaster 360..

Im using dual boot.. which i have vista and Xp on my machine.. im using the Motherboard "Asus P5N-E SLI"... it has 5 sata slots, the chipset that i have is NVIDIA nForceŽ 650i...   the 360 drive is a MS25/ and  TS-H943

ive read most of the walkthroughs but with a lil opinion itll be nice.. is windows xp the most compaitble OS with flashing on the 360 dvd drive? and how do i know if the 360 is compatible with my SATA motherboard?? is there a compatiblity list somewhere i can look up?

Thanks

that depends on your drive. the samsung can only be flashed in DOS, so winxp/vista makes no difference. if the hitachi tools work in vista, I don't know, but in theory they should.

is there any differece between the iprep 101 program and xtreme boot maker.. because i heard iprep 101 works better for flashing on FW ixtreme 1.2...

my 360 is still using the the basic FW on the drive.. hasn't been changed yet..

Use iPrep, with the latest definitions for iXtreme 1.2.

I used it, workes flawlessly on T/S drive.
