OK, I have been reading and searching for about 6.5 hours now. I have the "Hacking the XBOX 360 for Dumies" PDF from 360 mods and have been following it. All I have done so far is to get my drive into ModeB and then flashed my Hitachi 47 drive with Xtreme v2.3 which was the file to use according to the PDF.

What I am trying to figure out is if there is anything else that needs to be done, other than backup games on my DVD's. This PDF jumps around for so many different scenarios that I got confused.

I have a LiteOn SOHW-832S DL DVD RW.. do I need to flash this? If so, how and with what? Does anything else need to be done to the 360?

Well while I was waiting for an answer, I figured I would go play a little. Well I hooked everything back up and put in my OEM Battlefield 2 game and I get a disk unreadable error.... now what? Can I not play original games now that I flashed my drive?

Well check the disc... maybe that is the problem

If you cannot play original games, you may have flashed the drive incorrectly... try reflashing it.

I will try to re-flash the drive. I did notice that ModeB was gone when I rebooted my machine. The instrcutions were not very clear on what to do after the Linux program ran and booted so I just shut my computer off and then re-booted it. Did I do something wrong there?

OK... I got Hitachi flashed properly and now I can play my original games.

Is it safe to say now I just need to get a Samsung SH-D162C to use as "Kreon" to read/copy my games and then a Pioneer 112 to burn them with?

Am I missing any steps here? Of course I will have to flash the Samsung when I get it... but anything missing?

OK... so I have everything set but which files should be burned to the DVD? I have a .dvd and a .iso am I missing anything?

Also, I am using CloneDVD... it has 3 options... 1) Copy DVD Titles 2) Clone DVD 3) Write Existing Data... which should I use?

Use IMGBurn to burn the disc (Its Free On The Web Just Search) not clone DVD, you need both files once you install imgburn just double click the .dvd file which will open imgburn and burn away Smiley
