If the drive manufacturing date is April 05, according to the pic, how come it doesn't show up till now?
Why would it have any "new" capabilities if its over a year old?
Wait!
There wasn't even a 360 available in April 05 was there?
Am I the only one to notice this?
 Huh

i dont think so...since there is no way to dump the firmware and inject the key then flash.

At the very least, two people are going to have to desolder the flashrom, dump the fw using an external programmer and then compare the dumps for the difference i.e. the key.

If someone sends me one of these drives, I will work on it. But then these
are being used in retail x360 systems, they are all from Feb, 2005 to April 2005
for the beta DEV kits, might not even work in the retail x360 systems.

What we really need is one of those brand-new BenQ/Lite-On x360 DVD
SATA drives being all wraped in foam and plastic and packed into shipping
crates on their way to the MS assembly lines, ready for the fall push against
Sony and "Wii".
