Yes, Kreon ripping can cause bad angling, resulting in banhammer if you have ixtreme 1.3 or prior
C4Eva admits that 0800 rips are better

Thanks, so can anyone clear up does the current iXtreme 0800 1.6 rip SSv3 or not? Do we have the ability to be able to rip SSv3?

Can Kreon be improved to match 0800? Or is this a limitation of the drive?

ix1.6 can rip the new SS fine.
The problem with KReon giving bad angling lies within the drive itself, not the firmware

the bad angle can be detected with kreon checker or abgx. Are there any other downsides to kreon? Can kreon drives rip SSv2 and SSv3?

I think people are confused (myself included) - I really think someone like Redline99 (or someone who has 100% knowledge on the subject of ripping) should do a small write up...what is xxx, is a kreon drive better, is there a difference if xxx is yyy. It shouldn't take that long and i'm sure it would be much appreciated, clarify a few things and also save alot of questions on the matter but it's up to said person to do so...

Hi there, hope this is ok to post here don't want to cause trouble
here goes then...
I've been successfully copying xbox 360 games for my son using xbox backup creator untill now and now  while trying to backup the game Prototype, creator copies the game but when I click to write,a box saying Stealth check fail with a cross against PFI sector that says validation failed-PFI mismatch pops up.
I don't know what this means or what I'm doing wrong, hope someone can help me with this problem

just ignore it, you can disable that check on the options tab under the "write" options, you can use agbx to stealthcheck instead.

Yo Redline maybe you should edit your post a bit to explain to newcomers ,That even if newer games fail the stealth checks it will still boot. Just dont go on LIVE... EVER! (not that you should with a backup in the first place  Wink)

.... doesnt look like alot of pople are aware of this "3rd wave" stealth.

What version firmware are u using?

I believe support for firmware older than 1.6 has been removed from xbc.
