Let me see if I got this straight - I just bought an X360 Premium (I guess they're the new ones with HDMI) and most likely, I'll get a BenQ drive... so all I need now is just to buy another drive (like MS28) and spoof and I'll be fine?

The VIA 6421 chipset is good with the BenQ's...the red light that's from oxonaters box is because of a spoofing issue (or drive issue)....we hope ! gigabite

I had that too, when I manually edited and as gb says had an error in the spoofing string. Have you used gb's pack or my site to create the samsung fw ?

Hi again still heven't sorted my problem thing is i need to determine if the samung ms28 drive is faulty, now i have been using the vcc method and works everytime to bad flash it. The only thing with this method is not sure if u gotta replace that little diode thingy after each flash haven't anyways can't now cause one of the pads have lifted due to my frustration yanked it off oooops!. also i have another 360 with a 47dj hitachi so i went about spoofing the sammy as the 47dj what do u think happened mmmmmmmmm yes one red light and the E64 message so i think now i may have solved the problem (I HOPE) UNLESS I WAS DOING SOMETHING WRONG WITH THE HITACHI just got the original firmware took out the key placed in the ms28 standard firmware and spoofed have i done wrong or is this correct. One last thing is could the drive be INCOGNITO and really be a ms25 AHH theres another solution think i will just throw in the towel with this unless there is a defo way of checking the benq dump too make sure it is correct anyways thanxs a lot for your help were would we be without u guys (and girls not too discriminate female posters lol) oxy out!

Man, that post is a mess... Well, anyway. That "little diode thingy" on the samsung drive is a resistor. "ZERO" ( 0 ) OHM resistor. After You finished flashing, and shut down everything You haveto solder the pads. IF you do not do that, the flash chip will not recive power, and the drive will look like if it was not connected. I think that is why You got the error code.

Hey whats wrong with my post, so what you are saying is that the reason i am getting this issue is because the resistor needs to be put back. Now one of the copper pads is missing how can i get around that is ther any alternative soldering points oxy

Where do i have to flash to make it ixtrme as well? Does anyone know? Thanks.

Hello, I have dumped my BenQ Firmware (FW: http://rapidshare.com/files/59249841/original.bin) and I think I have a 64930C and my Drive-Key is 570D1BE521CB7AD8694E4928507C54E0!? But when I insert this key with FWTB4.0 in gigabites Samsung iXtreme 1.2 FW Spoof and flash the .bin file to my MS25 then my drive only says "Open Drive" / "Close Drive"... (Flashed FW: http://rapidshare.com/files/59249874/ms25.bin) I have also a Hitachi 47DJ but how can I spoof a Hitachi FW? Big thx for helping Maik

^^ First...make sure ALL cables are attached (including inside the drive) as this sounds like a cable disconnected...second...as you chose iXtreme, you must use stealth disks otherwise they will not work with this firmware - it's possible it's a problem with the firmware (as in the firmware is fine, you just haven't flashed it properly etc)

- All cables are attached. - I use stealth disks who work on another Xbox 360s with ixtreme v1.2 and original disks. - I have definitive flashed the firmware properly (It's not my first Xbox 360). Is definitive the drive key right? Is definitive the ms25.bin right? I have also a Hitachi 47DJ -> how can I spoof the Hitachi FW? thx Maik
