Maybe nobody here helped you because you are obviously too stupid to understand anything here, but if you actually WOULD understand some asm, then *all* info to do it yourself is on this board. While you were playing games, Commodore4eva was actually reading this board and RE-ing the FW himself. Just like the others here did. lemme guess who the 8 people are... you and your team. If you had paid any attention, you'd know that the 'team' consisted of 6 ppl. well i guess you pirates wont be the only ones on xbox live now. haha and dont even pretend thats not what you were doing... were not all idiots.
No, not everybody is an idiot. You obviously are. I don't even own a 360, I'm not interested in playing games.

I opened Isobuster up first, letting it see my dvd,(Bruce Almighty is a good size disc). Then used wxripper to stop the disc, inserted halo 2 and selected spin disc. Then started making an iso in isobuster. Halo 2 will get to around 7% then start slowing right down, this is due to the bad sectors? i believe, according to Geremia, you should tell it to replace the sectors with dummy data. I got to 20+% through then my computer decided to reboot because of an update. Oh well gonna leave it overnight, hopefully i will have an iso ready in the morning.

Yeah tell me about it, keep meaning to hit the hay and let it do its work. but when i new ep of scrubs airs it deserves time! Im at 33% myself, about the same time frame, maybes a touch longer. Seems promising, just hope it gets it right, dont wanna waste a DL just to find out the game partition is fubar.

Elitedev: please STOP flaming TheSpecialist and his team. Commodore4eva read all the precious infos that TS and his team wrote on these pages. Sure, Commodore is a very skilled guy, and maybe he could research and develop a hack by himself, but it surely would have taken some more months of hard work all alone by himself. If we have a working hack in the wild as soon as NOW, we must thank ALSO TheSpec and his team.

gre how exactly did you come up with that last sector... i used a 7.70GB dvd to rip halo 2, my last offset in the file is 1ED002FF, thats 8271179775 bytes, and when divided by 2048 and converted to hex, its 3DA005, exactly what dvdinfo tells me as my last data sector... i dont know how theres a difference of 25685872640 bytes between our results... you must be using bluray

just burnt another disk.. put the SS into the sector before, at, and after the calculated offset.. doesn't play. PC says it's a DVD video, but region doesn't match (could be cause the swap disk was a region 1 disk), xbox either reads forever or also says DVD video.

If this is the only thing you can and have to contribute on these forums then please, find another place to flame, bitch and moan. Seriously, show some intelligence. If you lack intelligence or if you are not able to work on your intelligence then please grab your buddy lynzoid and head back to XS. On topic, nice work Commodore4eva. If possible, join the technical discussions on these forums. I'm sure there are many people around here with some intelligence who can help you on your endeavours. Several other people have also recreated the xbox1 firmware hack behind the scenes. It's a fact that it can be done (for the LG) with only a 12 byte (non-code) patch. The x360 is a little bit more difficult but your current xbox1 knowledge will give you a headstart. Could you explain what was done to the security sector. It seems that the drive response table can be recrambled now with the 'default' key 0x00000000. But the responses don't match an original halo1 SS. Just curious how this could work. Keep up the good work.

SniperKil and I managed to get a copy of Halo 2 running now. SS was ripped with Commodore's SS ripping Firmware. Image ripped with hotswap/isobuster and clonecd used to create the .dvd txt info file. Burnt with clonecd. Works perfectly. Specialist: This should disprove your concerns on the SS modifications as well. I think Sniper is doing up a video showing it booting for any doubt. I'll let him post and detail the rest.
