Hi.

I've dumped my unique key from my DVD.

And it's looking like this: 35DA31D757A1902A2594F253D7BCEF91 (before i used firmcrypt)
                                  E5A3DA8D41DD41D66CC75E4F7F901F40 (after i used firmcrypt)

Do you think i've done it right? Is it suppose to look like this?

Thanks.

Sorry, no one can tell how your key should look like. The key changed so you must have used firmcrypt in the right manner.

this why I am asking , maybe he have Samsung-Toshiba , and not need firmcrypt .
if he have Hitachi then need to use firmcrypt tool and then dump the key .

hi again.

Yes it is a Hitachi-LG.

When i compare my dump (in HexWorkShop) with the one at this site http://www.darkmoon.org/GDR-3120L_0047DH.rar the differences are my 16 byte key (at 4F00) and 5 byte at 4F83. I have a 0047DJ rom. Is it suppose to be a diffrent there between 0047DH and 0047DJ? PAL? (i'm from Sweden)

Thanks

Those are the only differences? Only your key at 0x4F00 is important. The stuff at 0x4F8x might be (region) settings, configuration data, calibration data etc etc.

Thanks for your response.
I already saw those threads but i could'nt find my answer:
I understand that only the LG firmware could be patched for the disc copy (not the TS)
I read a post saying that using a LG dvd in place of a TS dvd doesn't work. But i wonder
if it didn't work because the guy doesn't change the 16 byte key or because the xbox firmware
is different?
I don't know if you will understand my english !  Undecided

ethier drive will work in the 360 as long as the correct key for the 360 is in the firmware.

what do you mean by patched for disc copy?

do you mean a patch to play copied games? if so the hack is possible with both drives.

no it won't run your backup games. it will run your ORGINAL games only.

how to play backup discs isn't publicly available knowledge.

I am not a master hacker. i am just doing a really bad impressionation of one.
