no its not the same. I could tell you what flash it is and what package it is but i think its time you learn to read and search. most of the questions you ask can be answered if you took the time to look. it is the teach a man to fish or give a man a fish thing. search and then ask if the information isn't already here then you might get a fish. i perfer tuna
I would like to add that software backup/flashing of the hitachi is possible and the samsung software backup/flashing isn't far off in my opinion.

i have just been reading that peeps who have orderd the sammy drive including you thay didernt have the epoxy glue all over the chip so i think ill get a sammy drive aswell |

hi i just went to buy this programmer http://www.sivava.com/Product_A04.htm and they dont take master card so i had a good look on the internet for one and i can not find one dos any one know where i there is anothere site i could get one from thanx sorry to be a pain |

no i have looked on ebay and the only place i could get one from is hong kong and i have got stuff from there befor and they did not come and i really need this programmer and it looks like the only way i can get one is if i use western union money orders and i dont fancy doing that cuz thats what i used when i orderd stuff from hong kong and thay did not come so please help i realy need a programmar i looked on googel and ebay and i just cannot get one
