what would i need to do play around with my key to try and get it to play backups but oviously keep the original key in a safe place just incase it dont work thanx
Playing around with your key won't allow you to magically play backups. The ability to play backups has nothing to do with your key.

If you don't programming and/or assembly language knowledge then you won't get that far with the FW. May sound a bit harsh but I'm just being realistic. Chipping experience doesn't make any difference. All you need to know for now is in the original big hacking firmware thread. Yes even the information on how to disassemble the TS firmware is there.

If we know what your goal is then we might be able to help you a bit more.

Ok, here is what to do...you said you have been reading & reading... Read again, I read for a month before posting. All the tools you need are on the big thread... gather & understand these tools is you first step... Like you, I didn't have any coding skills when i started this and with help from very talented coders I am confident I will succed with xbox1 FW hack shortly... (took about 3 months and I begin to understand how it works... There is a lot to learn but maybe I am not fast at understanding )

don't spam for answers, robby. MacDennis will answer when and if he feels like doing it, today is a holiday and most people will not be wanting to spend time on here or answering questions.

Hi MacDennis, and your answer is ?
You Help me, or NOT ?
First, please be a little less impatient. I answer when I have the time, it's a hobby and not a full-time job. Second, it seems you want to hack the TS firmware. So, my next question is: which programming skills do you have? Which hacking skills do you have? These skills are required if you want to hack your firmware.

hi would it be possible to put the programmer in the 360 so i dont have to keep desoldering the flashrom and resoldering it every time i want to flash it. basickly haveing all weirs from the flashrom to the bord in the drive were the flashrom gos and then to the flashrom and then have a com port at the back so i can just connect it to my pc and flash the flashrom so i dont have to keep takeing it apart and desolder the flashrom or dos that just sound silly thanx

yea you can do that if you want. i don't understand the point of the post though. do you expect someone to post a guide for you or something? i just used a plcc socket on my orginal board. that way i can pop in and out the flash at will sure. i still have to take it apart but it is far simpler then soldering wires to every pin.
