I am running windows 64bit XP and was attempting to flash my Hitachi drive v47 with Maximus_garyopa v3.2.

Unfortunately it seems it won't allow me to do it. Everything is fine up until i enter the command prompt when it comes back with the error. Any ideas what i can do?

Thanks in advance and hello to you all as i'm new to the site.

I don't think theres a way currently, all tools were made for 32bit operating systems.
The best and safest thing to do is to install windows xp pro sp2 (32bit). XP Pro sp2 will run on 64bit cpu's.

I didn't get anything working on my Core 2 Duo, and I don't have 64bit Windows XP.
So don't expect to get it working.

Core2Duo is not 64-bit... and it depends more on the SATA chipset you have if you can succesfully flash.

Well mine is 64-bit for sure, I'm running 64-bit linux on it. It clearly has nothing to do with the SATA chipset.

Stonersmurf is right! It's more to do with the fact that your running 64bit windows. To my knowledge Windows XP 64-bit edition does run 32bit code but only if it contains "pure" 32bit code. This is why many application fail to work...

Intel Core duo 2 has EMT-64, Intels name for 64-bit extension.

I have a Hitachi 0047DJ from DEC/05 and the firmware write not complete.

The status of CMD is:

The Windows XP find the Xbox drive and create a backup of firmware, more no complete.

* I using a PCI to SATA in my PC and boot with Slax CD Ok. The Message: switch to Mode B is OK.

Looking at your picture, it seems you have a DISC (game or movie) in the Drive,
which flashing with the DOS batch versions by us or Maximus you need to have
no disc in the Hitachi drive.

You can use Maximus Firmware Toolbox v3.0, it can with the right steps flash all drives and it should work in 64bit
but I personally have not tested it myself.
