Hi m8s ! I ve got a strange problem with a Hitachi 47 DJ NOV 05 here. I tried to flash the drive from a friends xbox. I used  a X360USB the same way i used it for my 47 dj. But after flashing no backups are running on his box. The same disks are running fine on my two 360. Originals boot fine on his machine. i tried nearly all FW versions and flashers but no one works.

someone got a solution for me please ?

Try restoring the drive, test what you get...then try again.  Make sure your using Verbatim DVD+R DL with the bitsetting set to DVD-ROM, some Xbox's are picky

THX for your reply Gigabyte   Cheesy  but in the end i tried with Maximus & Garyopa´s 2.3 / 1.6 more than 20 times. Sometimes i got an "Failed to execute Flasher" and sometimes everything went fine. But hmy friends LW still makes strange sounds when trying to boot his backups and then stops "with unplayable disk" error. But it still boots fine our originals of the same Games (so its not THAT urgent, but I look like a fool to my friend because ive got the same Drive-Model and it works nearly perfect).

My Backups are made with a Pioneer 111d with 1.29 FW on Verbatim silver Matt ones and some on the Printables. Those are working fine in my Hitachi and my sammy.
burnt with 2,4 x

the strange thing is that flashing his drive goes much faster than my one. but it says done at all 10 points and 100 % after finishing.
but the drive still acts like it has never been flashed. I restored his drive a few times till i got no errors and now i dont know what to try next.

Same here mate, got 10 Verbatim+R DL written with Pioneer 111d 1.29fw and all work on a friends x360, but only 2 work on mine.
I've tried several burning programs (cloneCD, imgburn, Nero) but doesn't seem to have any change in readabillity)
Got a Hitachi 47DJ aswell, only with a GLobe360

Working:
- PGR3
- Saints Row

Not:
- Saints Row (another version)
- Battlefield2
- Burnout revange
- NightyNineNights
- Viva Pinata
- GRAW
- R6:Vegas
- xbox arcade offline
- Splintercell: DA

Can it be that is has something to do with SS ?
How can you compare DVD's or see if the have a SS patch and/or media protection?

do a raw memdump of the drive with maximus firmware toolbox v3.0 and see what it says.
