During the SAMREAD. It said 100% read but at the boot of the screen it says in red "Backups (serial number)\orig.bin is not 256k in length-aborting". I went ahead and rebooted the pc and tried SAMHACK. The error I got is "Hackbin for xbox 360 (serial #) doesn't exist-aborting". Help. Thanks.

Flash it again without any Sam hack stuff, if you like I can do your drive for you (look at the signature)

I should mention what I have. Windows xp vt 6421L sammy m25 Xtreme BootMaker 0.3.6 xtrem42b Floppy disc
Also, when I did just SAMREAD only, I got an error stating the orig.bin already exists-aborting. I reformated the floppy and tried again and received the same error 100% read but at the bottom of the screen an error "Backups (serial number)\orig.bin is not 256k in length-aborting".

I am using Geebees v41 samsung tut and I don't see anything mentioned about mtkflash r /sata /m orig.bin when using XSAM360 and neither does Xtreme BootMakers instructions. I did see mtkflash r /sata /m orig.bin or something similiar too if using a different method as outlined in Geebees tut. Are you saying go ahead and try it? Also after SAMREAD has finished reading, the original bin is 65kb. Should it be 256?

DO NOT FLASH YOUR DRIVE IF YOUR ORIG.BIN IS ONLY 65kb IT SHOULD BE 256kb, if you do you will end up with a nice white DVD player :p

That's where I am stuck. I have no idea. I have not seen where anyone else has had this happen.

There is plenty of threads explaining on how to flash the drive with Mtkflash. So READ. HitachiSamsungTutorialV40Merged.doc has the proper information that you need inside of it. So there read it. Damn pop cultre unless its infront of their eyes they're too lazy to go and find it, don't worry longlivexbox im just generalising.

If it sounds like that I want to be spoon fed, I apologize. I like to do things for myself. Exist2Resist, you say to use v40 instead of v41. I will look for that tutorial. The reason I started this thread was because I have not seen this problem and was looking for advise or point me in the right path. If this is a flame, again I apologize.
