Hi, A little new to this xbox360 modding. I modded my hitachi with the lastest firmware flash. "got" 2 games (gears of war and rainbow six) they were pre patched and I burned them with no problem.

I got 2 more games tony hawk american wasteland and DOA 4.. the tony hawk was a .360 file and the DOA4 was a .dvd and .000 file.. I tried burning both and made 2 nice coasters.

I tried loading both into SS Merger, first of all I get the following error when I try to open an ISO and connect to the DB (screenshot attached) but its that "login failed for user: ss merger" error.

So my questions are this:
1. Is my problem with SS merger temporary? I installed .net framework 2 and followed the directions. Has anyone connected successfully today or in the last couple days? (I tired 1.6 and 1.7b)

2. If I have a .bin file that doesnt quite match the game iso I load into merger, ( say its the correct game.bin but its still red/not matching numbers.. ) can I still patch it with any sucess?

3. If for some reason I cannot get ss merger to work, is there another way to apply the patch..

thanks for any info.. sorry if this is common knowledge sometimes it hard to figure out whats old and new.
