Please help!

I have connected my 2 port sata card to the PC (VIA VT6421A chipset)

disabled all sata/ide ports in the BIOS and followed numerous guides.

When entering the read firmware command I just get 'no drive detected' come up really quickly.

I have tried powering off the 360 at the 'please wait' but it just sits there with 'no drive detected'

HELP! anything else I can try?

10 Second trick or the VCC trick (research yourself for both of them, don't bother to ask - xboxscene.com is helpful)

Just a thought but your not actually disbaling your SATA and IDE ports are you? You should be just disbaling raid and/or setting your sata ports to Native/IDE. If you disable your SATA ports then how are you gonna detect the drive?

Hey thanks for your replies - very helpful

From your words of wisdom I have managed to get the original firmware read....
how ever when I tried writing the hacked firmware it only completed Bank 1 and then failed on the rest of the banks.

When I tried to reflash it wouldnt see the drive  Undecided

Was so close!  Please tell me the drive isn't bricked.....Huh?
