Hello folks...
I have a little problem with my external HDD...it's not being recognized...
It's a LaCie and it doesn't need any drivers...could this be because of lack of updates? (I didn't wanna update because in case there would be any kind of exploit any time I would be lucky Wink)
My multicard reader isn't working either (which I can understand because it takes up like 7 drives...)
Any solution?

is it formatted for FAT32? if so, it may simply not be compatible.

Who told you fat32 doesnt support over 127 gigs?  LBA24 doesn't support over 127, but lba48 does, so as long as you have xp sp1 or higher or equivalant in linux you're fine.  The 360 supports lba48 afaik.
