My friend has just asked me to flash his drive, but he has had his 360 connected to xbox live and has therefore updated when prompted.
He has had it for ages so dont have to worry abt it being an MS28 or the latest Hitachi.


Will it be OK to flash the drive as he has run the online updates?

Please advise - I dont want to brick his baby!

it should be ok Smiley
1:if is sammy ms25 and mfd before May 2006, then you can use extreme 4.2x ,or 4.2x show as ms25.
2:if is sammy ms25 after May 2006 then you can only use 4.2x show as ms25, otherwise you will get e66 error.
3:lg i use flash23s.bat no problem.  Smiley
