Hi,

ich have Samsung FW ms28 and PCI SATA Controller with VIA VT6421A Chipset.
if I type mtkflash r /m/sata orig.bin, then I must choose Master oder Slave, then I'm turning the xbox off
and choose 2 "Slave", because it is slave. after that  I get the message;

Port:9800, Master / Slave: a0

Flas Type: "SST/SST25VF040)(Serial)"

Reading....00%_

I've tried the 10 sec wait trick, but the reading still stand at 00%. What have I forgotten or doing wrong?

THX

I've tried this commands:

mtkflash r /m /sata => Reading stands at 00%
mtkflash r /m/sata => Successful, but orig.bin's size is 0 byte, and it also comes if the xbox360 is off
mtkflash r /m => Reading stands at 00%
mtfklash r /sata/m => Err: File output
mtkflash r /sata => Reading 00%

hmm, are there other commands?

It's not the cmds but u failed to access the sst before f/w lockout. Use vcc or data trick; there a number of treads and tuts on this subject.

try this

Boot up your pc with your 360 off

when you get to the command prompt turn on your 360 and type mtkflash r /m /SATA orig.bin and hit enter

It should then give you 3 options

next, turn off your 360

now select your via sata (should be number 3)

Once you've selected it, it should sit there and do nothing, count to 10, then turn on your 360

It should start reading immediately

If it doesn't, hit ctrl + C and try again

Hope that works

Cheers
