Ok here i go, i have been having problems backing up my games with my Pioneer DVR-110D so i was looking in my local computer part stockest for a Pioneer DVR-111 drive but they sell a few versions of that model of drive and with that i wanted to know what one would be the one i should get. Here are the drives and spec below.

There all basically the same drive, you'vre got three different colours, and two of them have dvd-ram support. Any of these drives will do the job nicely.

And you can always cross flash a Pioneer 111d to a Pioneer 111L anyway and get all the
111L's features (DVD-RAM writing and Labelflash) for free as they are exactly the same hardware.

You need to get pioneer 111L firmware 8.19INT from http://tdb.rpc1.org/

Flash it with that and then download the 8.26INT firmware for the pioneer 111L and flash it with that.

Congrats you have a 111L for the price of a 111D
