there really isnt much going on.. its almost like the scene died.. there hasnt been a hitachi firmware release for like what.. 2 months or so now ? and samsung is about the same way here pretty soon..
whats going on.. did microsoft buy out c4e , gary , birdy , and others ?
bleh.. some news would be nice.. ya know ?
but as for homebrew.. we might see some loop holes in the xna homebrew stuff.. me and a few guys on irc are going to look into masking a nes emulator port with a small xna homebrew game to see if we can get it to pass to signature to play mario 1 with xna or something..
not sure if anybody else plans on doing anything.. but thats a project me and a few guys have going on

just what exactly would "news" about stuff that isn't out accomplish? plus, there isn't really much that is left to be done with the drive firmware.

Hmm. Buy out? Me, never, I been in the Video Gaming Business for 20 years now, I not going anywhere else. I know there has not been a new package from us for the Hitachi since 8/8/2006 7:51am, but there is good things in store for those that wait, and Maximus did a good job on his Stealth Firmware Maker after our last release, and then Germina did a good job with his updated and fixed "Birdy" package with Media Detect v2 so I think there has been some movement in the "scene" since then, and as for us, besides spenting time answering tons and tons of emails, messages, pm's, phone-call's, etc, etc. We have also been hard at work on new things, plus trying to get out hands on the new Hitachi 0078fk we can find a way to dump and flash it, as this new drive has been patched to stop the usage of "memdump" and "flashsec" programs, and the "debug" button on the Team-X kits. Anyhow, enough idle chat for now, must get back to "pages and screens of hexadecimal".

how about all the winers be quite and let the man do his work, garyopa always deliveres the good stuff. just sit back and hold those pants for the new release when it comes. so pls stop wining about new releases, it will come when garyopa thinks it's ready so respect that.

BTW, are there any good guides on "How to do the Perfect Flash, starting with GaryOPA, and then ..." I would like a full description of every step in the correct order while waiting for 3.0. I did c4e 1.0 and never had the strength to pry the box open again. Any links to guides? Any files to guides? Thx...

Someone had avalaunch running on a 360 dev or debug unit,as a dev/debug unit run unsigned code.Alot of people thought it was running on a retail unit.

Well, the dvd firmware hack is whats HOT these days, and most hackers use their energy on that, so i guess not so many people are working on a homebrew solution :/
Maybe its impossible.....

I think it will be possible when M$ will start to ban from xbox live... Then everybody will be what the **** is going on why we dont have an homebrew solution then it will be the start of the good day!!
This is my opinion and take it how you want to take it

I've read somewhere back at the end of October that you were working hard on it but since then not much. Major problems, will it not work... Or just a few bits to go?

Good luck getting ahold of GaryOPA I know the guy's given us excellent firmwares thus far. . . But he's all but dropped off the planet recently This really doesn't seem like him. I just hope he's ok.

(j/k guys about better be working hard I know you are all the time). Just to let the person who asked the question know...Avaluanch can be run BUT...you have to have a dev kit : p gigabite
