first off, i have:
TS-h943
F/W version ms28

VIA VT8237 onboard SATA chipset
Gigabyte Board
AMD processor
Lite-On dvd dl burner

Tools i'm using:
Xtreme 3.3 or 3.2 (tried both because i heard 3.3 might not work)
Xtreme bootmaker v2.10

My process:

1. Make the boot disk. Select my firmware, check 'Use custom mtkflash' box, I select 'VIA SATA RAID Controller' from the following choices.
VIA Bus Master IDE Controller
Primary IDE Channel
Secondary IDE Channel
VIA SATA RAID Controller
VAXSCSI Controller
SCSI/RAID Host Controller

Select A:\ as my target drive and check the 'Format and Make Bootable' box. Click 'Prepare Drive'.

2. Turn off computer. Hook up 360 SATA.

Here come my problems.

3. Boot up PC. wait until it goes into DOS from the bootdisk.
Problem 1 - When i turn on the 360 it kinda freezes for a second and gives me a STACKS error. (An internal stack overflow has caused this session to be halted.
Change the STACKS setting in your config.sys file, and then try again.)
And it just sits there.

4. I boot the 360 before i turn on the PC. I'm required to hit 'g' to go through to DOS. It says something about 'not read bios'. But it goes through.

5. I type in 'samread xxxxxxx xxxxx' and it gives me this error: Port: 170, Master/Slave: b0

What am i doing wrong?
A. Do i not have enough MTK drives attatched to my PC?
B. Do i have to use a USB flash drive instead of a floppy boot disk?
C. Do i need to use my hex edited mtkflash.exe? (i didnt because i think xtremem boot maker does it)

Thanks for any help.

I do NOT give support by email, PM, ICQ or whatever. Anyone annoying me that way will have his balls removed. With a rusty butterknife. Slowly. And I'll enjoy doing it.
