Hi,

I'm trying to burn a disc image using Gear Pro Mastering edition but I can't get a working copy - The disc is recognised as a game, spins and starts to boot (screen goes black and looks like game's about to start) but then I get a dirty disc error.

I've used the following burn settings: OppositeTrackPath, DiscAtOnce, LayerBreak=1913760

If anyone's managed to use this prog to successfully burn a backup or knows what I need to do then any advice would be appreciated (but please DON'T just say 'use CloneCD')

Thanks

I don't think a lot of user will be using a $400 cd/dvd mastering package to just burn some images Grin
Do you have the right security sector injected? what burner?

Yeah it was a long shot but worth a go.

I'm using a 111D and the image works fine when burnt with CloneCD.

I've given up hope that anyone else is even bothering to use anything other than CloneCD, but if anyone is interested.

I tried a second disc today (been awaiting a delivery) and I actually bothered looking at the bottom of this one... The disc is burnt right to the edge so I guess Gear Pro is screwing up the custom layer break even though I set it in 2 places in the settings (which was worrying - if I'd entered different figures which one would it use then?)
