Why in heavens is XBC putting a TAG into all ISO it creates when Schtrom's tool doesn't?  Huh

Besides the idea of the iso being less than perfect, wouldn't it allow stealth media to be detectable?

The tag is position is pre the game partition.  Its no different than looking at the pfi, dmi and ss sectors if something really wanted to look.  These sector positions are also outside of the lba ranges given by the TOC.

However (and I don't know if this is true), the firmware could return that all zeros exist at the location of the SS/PFI/DMI, thereby hiding the SS/PFI/DMI from the host.  I zero out the tag just in case (cause I can't burn from XBC for some reason).

I think it should be optional for the user, cause the only one who profit from this is the user. So let him decide!  Cry

there is a option to add it when reading, and then there is a option to remove it when writing. so actually there are two options Smiley

Oh... very nice.  I didn't see that option available before.  On an unrelated note, I think the text that says "This is not a true 1 to 1 copy..." should be hidden until the Sector Mapper checkbox is checked.
