this has to be the 50th time that someone asked about pioneer bitsetting.
pioneer always bitsets to dvd-rom by default on +r DL.

I do NOT give support by email, PM, ICQ or whatever. Anyone annoying me that way will have his balls removed. With a rusty butterknife. Slowly. And I'll enjoy doing it.

befor i ask ,, i did check it with DVDInfoPro and it's say :

"Pioneer Drives Do Not Support Bitsettings"

so i guess i need an Alternative firmware to make it support bitsettings (like what i did to my DVR-108)
but for this model i can't find an alternative firmware , and that's why im seeking for help ..  Undecided

Like Arakon said you do NOT need bitsetting on this drive for 360 backups on your drive

It says "bitsetting not supported" , that means you cant change the bitsetting.
But you dont need to change it because it has ALREADY been set to DVD-Ram
+ if you DO change the firmware + DO change the bitsetting your backups wont work.

You get it now ?  no need for bitsetting on  PIONEER drives.
Trust me , I have 2 x pioneer A09XL.
