I wouldn't tap it with a screwdriver at all, just give it a good clean (be carefull an mindfull of components) and check that everything is plugged in correctly and stuff (cords etc), you can do numerous test to see if things are broken etc but this is just a basic thing for you. You sound like you know a little but not enough so basic things first unless you have some spear money to throw around then try anything you want

Yeah but I think that it's probably an overheating issue, keep it in a well ventilated area with lots of room at the back, if it shuts off it could be a short or something but yeah anywayz so many things it could be anywayz give it a good clean that should be right
