Ok, I just need some general help here. I need to know first and formost if my PC is capable of flashing a Sammy. I can do Hitachis with no problem but I just can't seem to do anything with Sammys. I am using an Xecuter connectivity kit btw if it matters... Here's what I've got:

All info taken from Bios Agent (not sure what's important so I'll give it all):

Bios ID: Dell Dimension 4600i Bios version A07
Bios date: 11/06/03
Bios Type: Phoenix
Chipset: Intel 2570 Rev 2
Super I/O: Unknown
OS: Win XP SP2
Bios Rom Socket: No
Bios Rom Size: 512K

Samsung TS-H943 F/W - ms25

Made a MS-DOS boot disk on floppy and added MTKFLASH.TYP & MTKFLASH.EXE files from Mtkflash183c.zip to it.

Set the bios to boot from floppy, which it does and typed "mtkflash r m/ orig.bin" and I get 4 options
2 are IDE and the other 2 are ICH5 or something like that. Does that mean the Sammy is NOT being recognized? I just get nowhere when I select either "master". Can someone just give me a few clues here as to what I'm doing wrong? Do I need to hex edit mtkflash or something or am I just out of luck on Sammys?
