Ok i am having a very hard time with HITACHI 46d drive! I flashed with OPA-XTREME-HITACHI-7IN1-V2_1 and it does not allow me to play backups as it gives me the open tray error! The backups work as i currently have patched 3 samsung drives and never any problems! So it's not the backup as i tried 3 different games! I even re-flashed to original using restore.bat and re-flashed with v1.3 and that didn't work, so i also flashed with 2.0 and that didn't work either! I don't want to use the birdy flasher as i tried before and bricked the drive with the e65 error(the bricked had to be replaced with a samsung!) But anyways, what the heck is wrong with the 46d drive? I go through all the steps and the drive gets flashed!

The Hitachi is more picky than the Samsung on reading the disc.

Wait for our next release which will include the new "Media Detect v2" patch by Geremia

I had this same problem, which then led me onto bricking my hitachi 47DJ. waiting to get chip removed and flashed.

Where did you get your new Samsung from?

Anyone heard anymore on this linux fix that can repair hitachi?

regards
