My goals are "to have fun in everything". Converting to other fw revisions is not funny at all, anyway i'll do it right now.

Stay having fun, my new package will be released asap, just busy with things and my 'net was down again for almost 2 days.

Any way you could make your restore a little better. I kept on getting errors and I did it atleast 40 times and couldnt get a error proof run. I am not complaining just I got worried a little but then told myself as long as it works on errored areas at least once it would be flashed properly. Not sure if it needs to be slowed down or what. But thanks for the great work you and the rest do. Keep it up

To Geremia:

The all versions release is good, same as my earlier conversion.

(I have a firmware converter program, makes it easy, but needs more fine-tuning).

Except that in your Birdy script for v58 and v59 drives, the needed sector (34000) is
NOT FLASHED so your "Media Detect v2" is never installed on v58/v59 drives.

---------------------------

Also on a side-note, I still running into problems with the Hitachi with the "Media Detect v2"
in playing games burned on the new SATA version of the Plextor burner, but they play fine
when loaded on a Samsung firmware.

---------------------------

By the way, still working on "Media Stealth", having problems with it playing all forms of games
and movies without hard-booting the system (turn off, wait a minute, turn back on).

But users have reported the same problem with "c4e" Xtreme v3.0, with it not playing XBOX
1 games (originals) and burned Movies, after playing a burned XBOX 360 game.

arrgggg what a big mistake Smiley tnx for pointing
58 and 59 are not flashed, i'll fix it

what's the PFI of your plextor burned disk? Can i take a look?
Does it goes directly to video staying at low speed, or does it spin to max speed and says to clean disk?
All plextor burned media or just some of them?

I will dump the PFI of the non-working Plextor later this weekend. And PM and/or post it here.

The discs burned on the older Plextor writers now work with your new Media Detect patch, they did not before.

But the discs burned on the newest model of Plextor (the SATA version) (also great for hot-swapping with a x360 drive)
does not load correctly, they just click a few times while spinning at a slow speed, then display the "OPEN TRAY" error!!!

There are major and bad problem with birdy flasher, thanks Gary for pointing out, i didn't look at that because i simply added my patch data.

So, use birdy only for 47.

I've anyway fixed by hand the overall problem with birdyflasher, but since i've only 47, use at your own risk or wait Gary next release.

I ran the birdy flasher with the new mediatype patch on a v46 last night with absolutely no issues and this patch has fixed it so that all of my backups work!

Cheers!
