I did my boys XBOX a month or 2 ago, with V1 Hitachi FW.

All went fine, then the other night he was playing a DVD in it, and it FROZE. He turned it back on, and now its dead. I get the 3 red flashing lights.... the top right light is off.

Whats wrong? I took the drive out, hooked it upto my PC, it works fine, I restored the FW, still nothing

what is the problem? Is it dead for good? Was it something that I did and am responsible for?

It has nothing to do with the DVD drive. (search before post)

Some xboxxes suddenly freeze proberly because bad solder points... read this topic:
