Obviously we all love geometery wars.  But thing is if we wish to play backups we may eventualy get banned for xbox live.
I purchase the full version of Geometery wars.  But when not signed into live I can only play the trail version.
Can something be done about this.
Anyone tried anything or looked into it?
All info welcome.

oh god.are you serious?  That SUCKS. This means, obviously they are keeping track of who has purchased what on the live servers. probably to help prevent copying the signed code off your hd and pasting it on mine(if you will). Or, possibly, they sign the game before and/or after they send it to you. maybe they keep track and sign. never know. we need an inside informant from M$....you know SOMEONE has gotta know these answers....its just not us Sad

Hello, Sorry been resting my balls.
Yes i signed into my profile but did not sign into live.
Its a bit of a piss take I think. I paid for the full version so i can play it when i wish. Not only when i can sign into live.

i bought geometry wars the other day. i was playing it tonight without being connected to live, and it was no time limit, full game. you jsut can't upload your times to live. works fine.

Ah i remeber this thread. 
It turned out that when i purchased geometry wars on xbox live arcade i was using a different console.
Thats all it was.  It will only be unlocked when not live if it was purchased on that console.
Oh yeah, and my balls are huge.
