I am trying to flash a new Hitachi 47DH with "GaryOPA Xtreme v2.1 Hitachi-LG Firmware 7in1" and am getting "SAME: Hitachi DVD drive is XTREME", then it says "System will not EXIT the flashing". Anyone know what's going on?

HELP!

Several, in safe mode as well. The drive is in modeb for sure, cause it's recognized by windows fine.

The drive is not flashed properly however, I have never gotten a "now.bin" output.

Sounds like you don't have NTFS write permissions maybe where it's trying to write the output files - are you logged on as an administrative user?

Also, make sure that none of the files in the fileset have the Read Only attribute set......

Is there another way to test it besides a DL backup?

There is a small glitch in the Xtreme v2.1 with Read-Only files, and system can't delete them. You should only
run into this glitch after flashing a drive and trying to flash another of the same version.

Delete the X-LG folder, and unpack the Xtreme v2.1 package again, and then run the FLASH21.BAT file.
